Course Description
You can complete this course at home or anywhere you have an internet connection. Designed for NSW residents only, you’ll learn how to spot common dangers on the construction site and report them like a pro, grasp the basics of dodging these risks, and get the lowdown on what to do if things start to go sideways.
Plus, we’ll get you all set on how to choose and wear the right gear—think of it as your personal armour for construction work.
- To successfully complete this course during the webinar, the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory: A Hard Hat, a High-Visibility Vest equipped with reflective strips for visibility both during the day and at night, Hearing Protection (either earmuffs or earplugs, including disposable types), Eye Protection in the form of safety goggles, and Respiratory Protection, with a simple dust mask as the minimum requirement.
- Don’t forget to pack your ID essentials—a photo ID, something with your current address, a signature, and your date of birth.
- Just a heads-up, you’ll need to follow the SafeWork NSW ID Guidelines and be at least 14 years old to participate.
