This course includes training on various scaffolds and platforms like cantilevered cranes, spur scaffolds, and mast climbing platforms for licensing. The curriculum encompasses job planning, equipment selection and inspecting, setting up, erecting, and dismantling scaffolds.
Course Description
This advanced course is designed for scaffolders who already possess a Scaffold Basic (SB) High Risk Work Licence, aiming to enhance their skills and knowledge. Entry requirements include:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- English proficiency for safe high-risk work.
- CPCCLSF2001 (or CPCCLSF2001A) – Licence for basic scaffolding erection, alteration, and dismantling.
On enrolment, you’ll get an email with online material access instructions. You must pass an online quiz before course attendance, so review your materials carefully beforehand.
Additionally, a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Assessment is mandatory upon training centre arrival to adjust training methods if needed.
Completing this course, meeting competency requirements, and applying to your relevant state regulator (SafeWork NSW, WorkSafe QLD, WorkSafe WA) grants a Nationally Recognised High Risk Work License (SI).
