This Government-endorsed course to give you the necessary skills and training to meet Australian safety laws and regulations. It aims to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge to safely operate Boom type Elevating Work Platforms (EWP) of 11 metres or more, in compliance with all relevant legislation.
Course Description
This course equips participants with the skills and knowledge to safely manage a boom-type Elevating Work Platform (EWP) over 11 meters, adhering to legislative standards. Training includes safe operation, hazard recognition, communication, risk management, and maintenance.
Note: Completing this course alone does not grant a High Risk Work License (HRWL) for operating such equipment.
- Participants must be 18 or older, with adequate English, literacy, numeracy, and visual skills for this course.
- Physical and mental fitness to safely work in construction is necessary.
- EWP trainees must be physically fit and wear protective clothing and the necessary PPE.
