Course Description
This program is tailored for beginners but is also suitable for individuals at any experience level, offering a chance to enhance your skills and knowledge. Admission requires fulfilment of specific prerequisites, including:
- Identifying numbers frequently found on safety signs
- Inquiring to understand instructions more clearly
- Paying attention to instructions to pinpoint essential safety details
- Communicating construction issues or hazards to someone else
- Interpreting straightforward pictorial safety guidelines
- Following basic written safety instructions in English
- Choosing appropriate measures to control risks
Certification
Upon successfully passing the SafeWork NSW examination, you will be granted a Statement of Training (SOT), which serves as a provisional White Card. Your official White Card will then be mailed to you directly from SafeWork NSW.
Who this course is for
To enroll in this course, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 14 years old to start the course.
- Possess a strong command of English, both in writing and speaking.
- Provide 100 points of identification (refer to ID requirements).
- Wear closed-toe shoes (thongs or sandals are not permitted).
