The course includes training on using various scaffolds, cantilevered hoists (up to 500kg), and safety equipment. It teaches job planning, equipment selection and inspection, setup, erection, and dismantling of scaffolds.
Course Description
This course welcomes newcomers and is also suitable for those at any experience level seeking to update their skills and knowledge. Admission requirements include:
- Minimum age of 18.
- Proficient English for safely performing high-risk tasks.
On registration, you’ll get an email with instructions to access your online resources. You need to pass an online quiz before attending the course, so please review the provided materials carefully beforehand.
Additionally, you’ll complete a Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Assessment when you arrive at the training centre, helping trainers tailor the training to your needs.
Completing this course, fulfilling competency requirements, and applying to Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, WorkSafe WA, or SafeWork NSW grants a Nationally Recognised High Risk Work Licence (SB).

On completion you’ll receive:
- Statement of Attainment for CPCCLSF4001 – Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding advanced level.
