Course Description
This course is your ticket to making a significant impact in your workplace, addressing the skills required ensuring traffic stops, starts, and flows smoothly and safely in temporary traffic management using a stop/slow bat or boom gate.
It’s designed for those looking to enter the traffic control/management industry.
Please note, this course doesn’t qualify you to set up or work with traffic control plans.
- You MUST bring 100 points of Identification as prescribed by SafeWork NSW
- We recommend you hold a driver’s licence to meet employer requirements.
- Assessment for Implement Traffic Management Plans is held on a separate day (booked during training) and takes up to half a day.
- Industry standard PPE is required. Training requires long pants (preferably work pants), a long shirt, closed shoes, and a High Visibility Safety Vest. You can purchase a vest from us to keep for $10 – you may like to bring water and a hat.
Certification
On completion you’ll receive:
- SafeWork NSW TCWT card for Traffic Controller and Implementer as well as a Statement of Attainment for the units of competency (see below)
